Life Coaching is a highly collaborative effort that focuses on goal-setting through increased self-awareness and behavioral change. Based in a positive process-forward approach, life coaching uses psycho-education to teach clients how to raise their performance and improve their lives. Whether a student striving for better grades, a manager looking for ways to improve employee communications, or an athlete invested in competing at a higher level, life coaching provides the foundation and framework for growth and success.
As a Mental Health Therapist, I bring a unique set of skills to life coaching that enable me to better hear and understand my clients while helping them effect the changes they desire. Unlike mental health that is bound by confidentiality and guidelines that rule out dual relationships, life coaching is much less restrictive. I regularly meet clients at their homes, offices and workout facilities. And we frequently meet for coffee or lunch in a variety of public venues.
From 2006 to 2008, I successfully Life Coached the nationally competitive and extraordinarily gifted US Senior Men's Figure Skater - Rohene Ward. For more information, please visit his website at www.roheneward.com.
